This week has played out as perfectly as it could have. So far all but one of my picks have been the best pick that I could have made. This week’s matchup will most likely end up in a win, that is if his kicker does not have the most godly performance by a kicker ever. If I do proceed to win, I will have in fact accomplished the goal I set for myself before the season; that is winning ten games. Overall, my team has played at a high level for the final game of the regular season and has produced great performances all season long.
This week has been a very good week in terms of my analysis and selections throughout the week. All but about one of my picks have been the best that I could have chosen with the resources I had at my disposal. Instead of having one player for my best this week I have two. Jordan Howard and Deandre Hopkins went on to have their best games of the season this week. So far, these two players have put up two thirds of my points for the week. Jordan Howard with 27.5 and Deandre Hopkins with 24.9 had 52.4 of my total of 75.2 points. Although all of my selections were top notch, there was one unsuccessful one. This pick was choosing A.J. Green over Demaryius Thomas. While Thomas proceeded to put up 15.3 points on my bench, A.J. Green only put up 4.4. In conclusion, my picks have undoubtedly led my team to a nice victory to end off the regular season. This season overall has been a very successful one. My analysis and predictions played a huge role in that. From picking my players in the draft, to picking up new players in free agency, to picking the right players every week, it has helped my analysis part to a tremendous extent. Every year, I name my MVP(Most Valuable Player) of the season and my LVP(Least Valuable Player) of the season. For this season my most valuable player is Deandre Hopkins. Deandre Hopkins has had an outstanding year putting up 187.3 total points on the season. My least valuable player is A.J. Green. A.J. Green was extremely inconsistent over the entire season and did not put up many points. Overall, this has been a successful year and has helped me a lot in my pursuit to be a NFL analyst.

Overall, this week in fantasy football has been very good to my team. Although I am losing, I still have a very good chance to win. I have a number of players that still need to play, and I feel that those players could finish this week’s matchup off with a win. As I do every week, I analyzed my players matchups and decided based on who had the best matchups according to my analysis. For most of the selections, I have been very happy. Only two of my players have had under nine points this week.
This week’s matchup has been extremely successful for me. Almost all of my team has played to their highest ability and put me in a great position to win the game. My most successful of these choices was the Jacksonville Jaguars’ defense. Over this week’s game, they accumulated two picks and only allowed ten points by their opponent. Even though the majority of my matchups went right this week, there was one bad one that stood out. Over the course of the year, Jordan Howard has been my most consistent player, but over the past two weeks he has played horrible. Last week, he had a total of 19 yards for 1.9 fantasy points. This week, he continued this bad trend and only gained 33 total yards. This gave him 3.3 total fantasy points on the week. Next week’s game will be the last game of the regular season. This game will ultimately decide where I will be placed in the playoffs. There are a number of key matchups that I will have to decide, good and bad. One of the good ones is Zach Ertz versus the Los Angeles Rams. Over the course of the season, Zach Ertz has been Carson Wentz’s number one option. This trend looks like it could continue against the Rams. One bad matchup for next week could be JuJu Smith-Schuster versus the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens’ defense is one of the best in the league and will look to continue that trend versus JuJu Smith-Schuster and the Pittsburgh Steelers. During Thanksgiving break, I evaluated and selected the best matchups for the week’s games. Some of my selections were very good, while others played out a little bit worse. So far this week has not been a great one, although I am winning. Even though my team did not play well, it still looks like they will come out with a win. If my team wants to continue to win and be successful, they will need to play better going forward.
Even though my team did not play well, I had some players that did. One of these players was Latavius Murray. In the Vikings’ Thanksgivings day game, Murray amassed a total of 84 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. This gave him a very solid total of 14.4 fantasy points for this game. My worst performance, by far, was Jordan Howard. He had his worst game of the entire season and did not play the way he had in previous weeks. He was only able to total 19 total yards. This amounted to the worst performance on my team of only 1.9 fantasy points. Next week’s matchup is a rather important one. It could possibly determine whether I get the one or two seed in the playoffs. There will be many key matchups that I will have to make decisions about. One matchup that has the potential to be good is Kirk Cousins versus the Dallas Cowboys. In the past couple weeks, the Cowboys’ defense has struggled heavily against the pass. One matchup that I think will be bad is Ben Roethlisberger versus the Cincinnati Bengals. Roethlisberger tends to play very poor in rivalry matchups and especially against the Bengals. This week has by far been my most successful week of the entire football and fantasy football year. My team has proceeded to complete a totally lopsided victory and blow my opponent out. My team has currently put 119.08 points up to my opponents 70.1 points. This victory is mostly due to my accurate analysis and selections of specific players. Although the players in my starting lineup play amazingly, the players on my bench also played up to par. This gave me the option to basically select anyone and still win the game.
Throughout the course of this week, every player had a spectacular fantasy performance. My most successful selection was the Jaguars’ defense over the Texans’ defense. The Jaguars’ went on to gain 25 total points for their week’s performance. So far this year, they have been the number one fantasy defense and have helped out my team tremendously. Even though every single one of my picks were successful, there was one that I was not happy about. This pick was JuJu Smith-Schuster. Over the course of this year, JuJu has been racking up fantasy points game in and game out, but this week was not a good performance for him. He only ended up gaining my team 4.7 fantasy points. I was very disappointed and thought that he would have a huge game like he has all season. Overall, my team played extremely well this week and I am looking forward for the weeks to come. Next week is a very big week because it could be a deciding factor to what seed I will receive for the playoffs. I will have a lot of important decisions to make. One of these decisions will be picking my quarterback. For this decision I will probably choose Ben Roethlisberger because he is against a defense that gives up a lot of points to quarterbacks. Another crucial decision I will have to make is at the running back spot. A huge gap will have to be filled due to a season ending injury to Chris Thompson. One player that I believe could fill this hole is Orleans Darkwa. He has had a tremendous season for the Giants and I feel that he will be a great replacement. Next week is a very important week and is a must win game for my team. This week’s win was probably the most dominant I have had all season. Every week I analyze and predict matchups of my players. This week by far has been my best of doing so. I am currently up 87.44 to 40.64 and still have one more player that is playing. Almost all of my selections were correct and helped me get this win. Although most of my selections were perfect, I did get some help due to some players in his lineup being injured or on a bye. Ultimately, this helped me get a much needed win.
This week, most of my selections were spot on. I had many players get over ten fantasy points and help me to this dominant win. My best performance however was A.J. Green. He caught five passes for 115 yards and one touchdown. This performance gave him a total of 17.5 fantasy points. Although almost every pick I made this week was the best pick, there was one that I messed up on. This was the decision to start Ben Roethlisberger over Kirk Cousins. Although Ben Roethlisberger had a good game, Kirk Cousins had an even better one. While Ben Roethlisberger had 236 yards, two touchdowns, and one pick for a total of 17.94 fantasy points, Kirk Cousins showed him up with 327 yards, one passing touchdown, one interception, and one rushing touchdown. This gave him a total of 27.58 fantasy points. Hopefully, this week’s dominant victory will launch me into another successful outing next week. There are many key matchups that I will have to analyze for next week. There are some that could be successful and some that will be not so successful. One of the matchups that I could see being successful, would be the Jacksonville Jaguars defense at the Cleveland Browns. This could be a very good matchup due to the fact that the Browns have not found their identity yet. One bad matchup predict for next week would be A.J. Green versus the Denver Broncos. This is mainly because Denver is notoriously known for having one of the best secondaries in the league. It even has a nickname, the “No Fly Zone”. This week was a very difficult one for in the aspect of determining matchups. Most of my players were on a bye and I could not start some due to injury. There were some matchups that did surprisingly well, while others I favored did not due so well. When you have limited resources or players, I have found that it can be very difficult to make the right selections. Although some of my players did not do all that well, I still feel like I have a chance to finish off and win this matchup.
Over the course of this week’s games, I felt very good and very bad about some picks due to availability. One selection that I thought would do well and did perform was the selection of Deandre Hopkins. During this season, Deandre has basically carried my fantasy team throughout many games. This week, he had six catches for 86 yards and one touchdown. He ended up gaining 14.6 Fantasy points and being my highest scorer. Even with his starting quarterback injured, he has still been able to put up huge numbers. My worst selection of the week was A.J. Green. Although he was up against the best defense in the NFL, the Jacksonville Jaguars, I still believed that he would have a well rounded day. This ended up being a bad decision. Although he did not have a good game, it was not due to the fact that he played poorly. It was actually due to the fact that he got ejected from the game, during the second quarter, for getting into a fight. Even though this was the case, he only racked up one catch for six yards to total 0.6 Fantasy points. Next week, I have some very influential decisions to make about my roster. There are some positions that are struggling on my team and it looks like I need to be make some changes. Over the course of the season, my flex option has been lacking due to the lack of availability. I do feel that I have solved that problem by picking up Juju Smith-Schuster off of the waiver wire. I really feel like he could solidify that role for my team and be very successful. During the week, I analyzed the best and worst matchups. On many of these I was successful, but there were some that were not as successful. Although it seemed like I was going to lose, my team has made an improbable comeback and is only down by 7 points. Most of my players have had a lot of points and been successful, but so far my opponent has out scored me. If my last matchup is successful, I will have a very good chance to put up the amount of points needed to win the game.
During this week’s games, I had some very successful and some very unsuccessful selections. For the most part though, I had very successful picks. My most successful is Deandre Hopkins versus the Seattle Seahawks. Deandre Hopkins had 8 catches for 224 yards and one touchdown. This performance was my most successful of the year as he put up 28.4 points. Although most of my selections were on the upside, there was one that was beyond terrible. This pick was of the Houston Texans’ defense versus the Seattle Seahawks. They gave up 35 total points while also having an interception. This performance amounted to zero total points and resulted in my lowest total of the year. Next week, there will be a ton of important decisions I will have to make to be successful. Some of these decisions will include who will have a good and a bad game. One of the good performances for next week is Jimmy Graham versus the Washington Redskins. This is a good matchups because the Redskins play very bad against tight ends. One bad performance could be A.J. Green versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. Over the course of the season, the Jaguars have had the best defense and have shutdown opposing team’s top receivers. I will look forward to these matchups and how I can be successful. During this week, I have continuously analyzed and evaluated many different matchups. So far this week, I have not done so well although I am winning. I was forced to start multiple players that I did not want to start due to some of my players being on byes or being injuried. Most of the matchups that I concluded would have big game potential did not show out. For example, I thought that A.J. Green would have a fantastic week. He ended up only having three catches for 41 yards, which gave him 4.1 fantasy points. Although I have made some faulty decisions, I still have players that are viable for big performances.
This week, I have had mostly bad performances, but there is one matchup that has kept me in the game. This matchup was the Jaguars’ defense. They held the the Indianapolis Colts to zero points and had ten sacks. This sack total ties for their most in a single game. These numbers added up to give me 20 fantasy points. Most of my performances were pretty bad this week, but there was one that stood out the most. This matchup was Dan Bailey versus the San Francisco 49ers. This bad performance was mostly due to the fact that he sustained an injury in the first half. Even though he was injured, it still counts as a bad performance. He only made two extra points for a total of 2 fantasy points. Next week, almost every matchup could be extremely successful. I feel that the best one could be Jordan Howard versus the New Orleans Saints. The Saints are known around the league as having arguably the worst defense in the league, especially in the run. I will look for a big game from Jordan Howard next week. Although almost every matchup is good for next week, there is one bad one. This matchup is Deandre Hopkins versus the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks are known around the league for having one of the most notorious defenses. They only allow an average of 228 passing yards per game. I will not be surprised if Deandre Hopkins has a subpar game next week. Over the course of this past week, I reviewed and chose various matchups for my fantasy football team. I looked at who had the best chance to gain the most points and be very successful. One way I did this was by seeing who that player would be matching up one on one with. I then compared them to other players and their matchups. I did this so that I could accurately pick the player that would play the best.
So far this week, my choices have been very successful. This includes Jordan Howard, Kirk Cousins, and Zach Ertz. The most successful out of these three was Kirk Cousins. Kirk threw for 330 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. He also had one rushing touchdown. His performance accounted for 27.8 points out of 103.7 from the whole team. Although all of my picks were good, I did have one unsuccessful pick this week. This pick included a decision between the Texans defense and the Jaguars defense. I picked wrong because of the the amount of injuries on the Texans defense. I concluded that the Texans defense would not play as well due to losing their two best players. They then went on to have one of their best performances of the year. Next week, I have a lot of important decisions to make. These include picking between the quarterbacks, the running backs, and the tight ends. For the quarterbacks, I will most likely go with Kirk Cousins because he will be against an injured secondary in the Eagles. For the running backs, I will probably choose Jordan Howard because he is the most consistent players that is on my team. Picking between the tight ends is probably the toughest decision. I will have to choose between Jimmy Graham and Zach Ertz. I will most likely choose Zach Ertz because the Redskins play very bad versus tight ends. Over the course of this week, I have been watching various shows to look and find different strategies on how to better use my information. I first started by watching ESPN, I found that based on how a certain team is playing, it may not be the same for the next week. An example of this is that last week the Steelers played a great game and beat the Ravens, but this week they were not even able to score a touchdown versus the Jaguars. The next thing I did was watch the NFL Network. I learned that taking notes while listening to NFL analysts as they talked was very helpful in remembering specifics about certain players and teams. This gave me a better understanding of the material being talked about.
This week, I had some very bad performances, but a majority of them played very well. I was forced to play some players that I would not have normally played due to the fact that a big chunk of my team’s players were not playing because of a bye. Despite this, I was able to beat my opponents’ team by twenty-three points and counting. My worst performance this week was of arguably the most important players on the team, the quarterback. Ben Roethlisberger, one of the players I was forced to start, had the worst fantasy performance I have had all year. He eclipsed only 2.58 points on 312 yards and five interceptions. Although he was the worst performance I have had all year, I luckily had the defense that he was up against. The Jaguars’ defense gained 28 points in a 30-9 victory over Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers. Next week, there are a ton of matchups that could have success. One of those includes Kirk Cousins. He will be matched up with the 49ers’ defense and I believe he could have a very good game. One reason I think he will have a good game is because of a very weak 49ers’ secondary and because I will be at that game. One matchup that I feel will not be successful is Zach Ertz, of the Eagles, versus the Carolina Panthers. I do not think he will have a good game because the Panthers have very talented coverage linebackers and safeties that will be able to lock him down. |
